I started practicing yoga when I was 18 years old. At the time, sport was a way of life. I was a competitive windsurfer, runner and skier. However, it was when I discovered yoga that I reached a higher level of connection with my own system. I will never forget how I would get into a class feeling one way and coming out of the class feeling completely different. I was hooked on the sensation of feeling myself evolving, changing – both physically and mentally. With each class I got closer and closer and reached deeper and deeper for the ultimate outcome — a mind and body serenity, harmony and peace. Yoga became part of me.
Sharing my knowledge, my own experiences, and way of thinking opened me up to a higher channel of satisfaction. I decided to study yoga on a deeper level. Taking my first 200 hours teacher training with Michelle Mazur was a life altering experience. My mathematical background further helped me simplify things and understand the inns and outs of what became my way of life. As a Pepperdine M.B.A alumni I further acquired the tools to express, communicate and continue to explorer the never-ending quest – Self-discovery, realization and actualization.
